Finally got round to having my eyes tested today. Finally got round to having my eyes tested today. I was probably about 6mths over my annual checkup. 👀 However, the results wasn't quite what I expected but to be honest I wasn't surprised either. 🙈 I have been experiencing slightly less than perfect vision recently and an increase in headaches. I have put these both down to stress, tiredness and working too much on the computer or phone. 💻📱 Those of you that know me well, know I suffer with headaches and migraines. However, the intensity and longevity of my headaches more recently were becoming more and more noticed by family and friends; I personally just got on with dealing with them. 💕 See, I tend to leave going to the doctors for really serious ill people or those who just want to tick a box for their dole money. I'm generally fit and healthy. 💃 However, the optician has found an issue with my optical nerve and my blood vessels are displaying like I have high blood pressure. As far as I know I don't. 💣 Apparently one of my optical nerves is swollen and unusual, and because of the symptoms I've been having it's possibly linked to something that may be going on in my brain. (I must have one then lol 🧠🤣👍) So, I'm being referred to hospital for further tests and I have to go to my doctors and get my blood pressure checked again.💪 There are quite a few of my mother's aunts and uncles (from her mothers side - there was about 14 of them) that were diagnosed or died with a brain tumour/haemorrhage , and my mother's half brother (my uncle) had a brain haemorrhage/and a stroke several years ago in his 40s, so as you can imagine Im getting it checked out.👥 My advice to you guys is...dont miss an optician appointment especially if you're experiencing vision changes or headaches and visit the doctor when you have a noticeable change in symptoms, you never know it could be nothing but it could also be something that can be treated.🛌 I'm staying positive, its probably the universe's way of keeping me grounded and grateful. 🤞 Take care. 😘
With lockdown restrictions lifting, I've now got t With lockdown restrictions lifting, I've now got to face another fact that I've conveniently push to the back of my mind....my weight! I'm no super model, I know that, and I will never be a size zero (and wouldnt want to be tbh)! However, with heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes in my family, I must start to look after myself. I have NONE of these diseases! Ideally, I'd love to lose two stone of weight, so i can be my pre-baby weight but that may be too much to ask, so I'm aiming to lose a stone, but with more of a focus on changing my habits with food. I'm a sucker for breads, pastas and rice, I eat meat but not loads of it but at least I'll eat any fruit and veg. So, I'm going to try doing a #keto diet as its low in carbs. Anyone here doing the same? Also, going to try #yoga, it's a bit different to dancing but I think I'm too old to dance in cages anymore 🤣🤣🤣

I've been dark for so long now and with the grey coming through, I thought it was time for a change. I quite like it! It sets me apart from the rest and thats something I'm passionate about. I've NEVER been one to fit in and why the hell should I?! 💁🏽‍♀️ The second, most important, reason why I've gone Auburn is because I have been contemplating having my hair all shaved off again. Its been about 5yrs since the last time I did it. ✂️ The last time I did it, I raised over £1600 for #CancerResearchUK and I donated my long locks of hair to the #LittlePrincessesTrust.✔ I figured there is probably not many Auburn/Ginger haired people out there who would be willing to shave their hair off, so I thought if I dyed my hair Auburn/Ginger, shave it off, then donate the locks when the time comes, then there will be hair available for a little girl who may want a Auburn/Ginger wig.🍊🥕 So, don't judge me. I'm doing it for whoever will eventually have my hair as a wig but most importantly, I'm doing it for ME!💗 I want to feel EMPOWERED, I want to feel like I've done something good whilst on this earth and if that means losing my hair every so often then that is a small price to pay.🦄 #staysafe #bravetheshave #goingbaldsoon

Love crazy paving but the weeds are a nightmare. Love crazy paving but the weeds are a nightmare. It's great having a daughter who wants to earn pocket money and doesnt mind keeping the weeds away. Really don't want to use chemical weed killers, if I can help it, but nothing natural is going to keep these weeds at bay.
