With just a week away until I make my way to Salisbury to start my first week of saddler training.
I cannot wait, the excitement is killing me!
I do believe from reading the City and Guilds booklet that I will be making a stable headcollar which will form part of the practical experience and assessment of the Level 2 Bridle making exam.
I have already made a full-sized bridle, a Shetland bridle, a belt, a rolled dog collar and a plaited bracelet and browband during the two weeks worth of training workshops I attended at Saddlers Den in Southport last year, so this headcollar should be relatively easy to do once I get into it.
Ready to Go…
I have paid for my training course and booked my accommodation for the four nights I will be there so I’m almost ready 🙂
