Taking Action…

movement

For the whole of my adult life I have wanted to be someone more than the average Jane Doe. Don’t get me wrong I have never wanted to be a celebrity and portray the ‘everything is perfect’ image but I have always wanted to be a business owner, or somebody people look up to and respected like an Entrepreneur or a Mentor of some sort.

I enjoy challenge, variety, learning new things all the time and above all meeting people, especially if we have something in common or they have a fab biography of themselves to tell us. I love listening to the older generation and learning how it really was a lovely time to live in those days despite having very little and living amongst war time. We have a lot to learn from our elders, why do so many choose not to engage more with them?!

Anyway, at the time of writing this post I am 37 years old, a wife, a mother, degree holder, a frustrated full time employee, a trainee saddler and a part time business owner. I have experienced massive highs and equally lower lows in my lifetime but I truly believe that without the help and support from a few choice friends and my immediate family I would not be here today.

What I am sure of more than anything is that I was not brought into this world to be a plain Jane or a crazy cat lady, I was born to be a someone, to do good things and pay it forward as a way of healing the world of greed and politics.

So after much consideration I have decided to finally ‘take action!’ Do something wonderful each day even if it is just to tell my family and friends that I love them or help a stranger in need, because simply to wake up every morning fit and well is a blessing in itself and we really must start contributing more to this life that we are given. It’s amazing how a simple act of kindness can change your day as well as someone else’s. Try it! You may like it to want to do it again.
